The beauty supply retailer Beauty Supply, Inc. said on Monday that it sold for $2.8 million at eBay.
The company said in a statement that the deal was announced in April 2017 and valued at $2 billion.
Beauty Supply said it was “a landmark acquisition for our family.”
The company was founded in 1990 in the New York City suburb of Brooklyn and has grown to more than 50 stores in 13 states.
The Beauty Supply company said that the transaction includes a total of 526 stores across the U.S.
Beautiful Beauty Supply had a total revenue of $6.8 billion in fiscal 2017, up from $5.5 billion the year before.
Beautical Beauty Supply said in the statement that it plans to use the cash to reinvest in its business.
Beautyscale is an online retailer that sells everything from nail polish to hair products.
